Small Power Installations
We can undertake any small power installation, in any sector from commercial to retail, industrial to healthcare, educational to leisure. Lighting and Emergency Lighting Systems
NTI can design, supply, install and commission lighting and emergency lighting installations to suit any application from new installations to full refurbishment or partial replacement. Whether you require Internal lighting to a factory or warehouse, an office or showroom, a school/college or showroom, to external lighting such as floodlighting, street lighting or car park lighting we can accommodate all scenarios.
As well as our in-house design team, we work with all major lighting manufacturers. We also recognise that every clients requirements are unique and that is why we design our lighting installations to be not only user friendly, but with energy efficiency, maintenance and future flexibility all major considerations, whilst encompassing the original client design concept.
Fire Alarm Systems
We carry out fire alarm design and installations for all types of fire alarms, from conventional systems to fully addressable systems. This can be undertaken directly or in conjunction with specialist manufacturers of fire alarm systems, who can also provide ongoing servicing, monitoring and maintenance giving added assurance of a complete ongoing service.
Data Networking
NTI can provide a design and installation service for your data and networking requirements. Undertaking complete installations to additional data points. We also work with specialist partners for fibre cabling installations and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).
Electrical Condition Reports and Emergency Lighting Testing
NTI are specialist in electrical inspection and testing, our inspectors and engineers are highly qualified and experienced in the testing of electrical installations. NTI are also an NICEIC approved contractor and as such you can be confident in all our work.
Electrical Condition Reports
We can help you comply with the Electricity at Work Act and Health and Safety Executive recommendations, by undertaking your electrical inspection and testing.
NTI will work with you to develop a bespoke testing schedule to avoid major disruption to your day to day operations, taking advantage of quiet periods or natural downtime, shutdown periods, maintenance windows, out-of-hours or out-of-term testing.
Following the completion of your electrical inspection and testing, a detailed Electrical Installation Condition Report is issued. The report will detail the extent and results of the inspection and testing, identifying any recommendations and remedial actions that should be undertaken to comply with current standards.
We will work with you to ensure your compliance and where required provide a schedule of prioritised and costed recommendations to bring your installation up to the standards required by current standards.
Emergency Light Testing
We provide a professional periodic inspection service in line with the requirements of Emergency Lighting Regulations BS5266.
In addition to the regular monthly tests carried out by your responsible person, yearly full duration discharge tests are required.
Full duration tests involve checking that the lighting unit operates correctly in a simulated loss of power and operates for the rated duration of the battery, usually 3 hours. Upon re-instatement of the power supply the lighting unit should start charging and return to its standby state.
